About the band
The Beginning
In November of 2021, Leadfoot was founded in Newark Delaware, when guitarist Jeff Shelton and vocalist Mike McCarter hooked up with long time friend and drummer Rick Potts, as well as another local musician and friend, bassist Paulie Personti. After laying down the foundation that winter for what Leadfoot would eventually become, they started performing in the spring of 2022 at local venues, and quickly gained a reputation for their big vocals and hard rocking, bass driven sound. From there, the band has continued to build up their repertoire of music, and are constantly evolving, and honing their sound…..becoming one of the premier cover bands in the area.
